Ginga (pronounced jeen | ga) Associação de Capoeira USA is a martial arts school teaching self defense and movement in Bahia, New York, Hawaii and Connecticut. We welcome students and visitors from all groups, levels, and all types of training backgrounds. Our goal... to better educate American students in the traditions of Capoeira and to exposing new audiences to the beauty of the culture of Brazil and excitement of Capoeira.
Founder of Ginga Associação de Capoeira USA, Professor Kiki da Bahia is a true native of Brazil and protégé to one of the most important figures in Capoeira: Mestre Itapoan. He is a walking vessel of its immense culture and knowledge, who for twenty five years, has dedicated his life to the study and advancement of this dynamic martial art.
